What is a wireless water level controller?
A water level controller is a device to operate the motor for automatic water supply in the tanks. This wireless controller receives data wirelessly from sensors installed at Overhead/ Underground tanks and display level in Percentage for multiple tanks.
Which model is suitable for automation of Pumps directly connected to Water supply line?
Ripple model specifically designed to detect water supply in pipe line and automatically start the motor to fill the tanks
Is Ripple model a timer based system?
No. Ripple detects water supply instantly as soon as water supply starts in the locality. Although, it has timer function also but its water supply detection is very reliable. Hence, most of the time, timer system is not used. The disadvantage of timer based operation is it may suck dirty water accumulated in corroded water supply pipe line if at that time water supply is not there. Thus, timer based system may spread diseases.
Which model is suitable for motor pumping water from Underground tank to Overhead tank?
Ibot P model is suitable for automation of above motor.
Can it control water level in multiple tanks filled by a single motor?
Yes. It has multi tank feature also. Additional sensors are required for each additional tank. The controller will receive water level data from all sensors and display the water level of every tank. When water level in any of overhead tank falls below low level, it’ll start the motor and after getting full all the tanks, it’ll stop the motor. In case of multiple tanks, it’s mandatory by the client to install the float valve in every Overhead tank to prevent the water overflow.
How it displays the water level?
It has a digital display for showing the water level of tanks in percentage with 1% resolution along with tank Identification number.
What is the Service life of the product?
If system and its controller are not damaged physically and used as per the recommended guidelines, it will last more than 10 Years. Only batteries are required to be replaced after an interval of a few years.
Does the sensor unit installed at tanks require external power supply?
No. The capacitance based water level sensors have inbuilt batteries which is enough to power the unit for more than 5 years.
What are the main components of a water level controller?
The main components usually include water level sensors, a controller unit which will automate existing motor pump.
What is the working principle of water level sensor used for potable water?
Sensors for potable water are based on principle of capacitance. It has additional sensor for auto calibration and it sends the data in percentage with 1% resolution. These sensors are corrosion & scale free and suitable for potable water.
What other types of water level sensors used by Aquabrim?
Apart from most commonly used capacitance based sensors, ultrasonic, magnetic and conductive sensors are also used as per site requirement.
What are the alarm/ safety features provided by Aquabrim controllers?
Following safety features may be available in products based on model and variants:
(I) Dry run protection
(II) High/ Low voltage protection
(III) Overflow alarm
(IV) Timeout feature

Our controllers come with a One year standard warranty period.
Can the water level controller be used with non-potable water sources?
Yes, for non-potable water, ultrasonic sensor based device can be used to measure the water level and transmit the data wirelessly to the controller/ indicators.
Can the water level controller be installed outdoors?
No, the controller should be protected from rain, water splashes, dust and direct sun light. It should be installed in dry and well protected place or protected by non-metallic enclosure.
Can the water level controller be operated manually in case of emergencies?
Yes, our controllers are installed in parallel to your existing old switch of motor. The same switch can be used to operate the motor manually as usual.
Can the water level controller be programmed to operate on a schedule?
Yes, our controllers can be operated for automated operation based on predefined time intervals.
Does the water level controller have built-in alarms or notifications for abnormal conditions?
Yes, our controllers can be configured to emit alarms or SMS in case of abnormal water level conditions.
Is the water level controller compatible with low-pressure water supply systems?
Yes, our controllers are designed to detect very low water supply pressure and automatically operate the motor to fill the storage tank.
Does the water level controller support data logging for historical analysis?
Yes, our controllers can be configured for data logging capabilities, allowing for historical analysis of water level trends and patterns.
Does the water level controller have a self-diagnostic feature for troubleshooting purposes?
Yes, our models feature self-diagnostic capabilities to identify and troubleshoot issues for easy resolution.
Can the water level controller be retrofitted onto existing water systems?
Yes, our controllers are designed for easy retrofitting onto existing water systems, offering an efficient solution for upgrading outdated systems.
"No Signal" L.E.D. is glowing continously
Applicable Model | Explaination | Action |
All Model | The controller is unable to receive signals of the transmitters of destination tank | Call Service Centre. |
No Signal L.E.D. is blinking continously
Applicable Model | Explaination | Action |
All Model | The controller is unable to receive signals of the transmitters of under ground source tank | Call Service Centre. |
Motor ON led is blinking but motor is not running.
Applicable Model | Explaination | Action |
All Model | The motor has been unable to fill the destination tank within following time-out period. (1) From empty to 50%- 1hour (2) From 50% to 75%- 1hour. (3) from 75% to full- 30 min | 1) Check the Fuse at the right side edge of controller. If it is blown away, replace the fuse. However it is recommended to get the motor checked for high current from authorised service personal of the menufecturing compant of motor. (2) The wiring from controller to motor should be get checked by electrician.(3) Check if any tap has been left open inadverdently. |
Line water LED blinking/glowing continuously
Applicable Model | Explaination | Action |
Sense Model | If blinking, it means either water supply at inlet of motor has been detected with low pressure or a timer has been activated. If it is glowing continously, it means water supply has been detected with sufficient pressure at inlet of motor. | No action required. The motor will operate in automatic mode. |
Voltage indication led is blinking/glowing continuously.
Applicable Model | Explaination | Action |
All Model | If the input voltage is beyond the set range of 180~250V, it will glow/ blink and it will not allow to run the motor till voltage is within range. These LED will also start blinking if voltage protection is disabled. |
"MAINS" indicator is not glowing.
Applicable Model | Explaination | Action |
All Model | If the power supply is reaching to the controller,it will glow. Other wise it will not glow. | If it is not glowing, check the MCB from where the power supply has been given to controller. |
